Okay, so what we know about Magdalena is that she was born in a sunny day of October of 1984 in Gdánsk Poland. She was discovered after her mother sent some really bad pictures of her when she was sixteen, and she got a spot on a local modelling agency called Model Plus, after suffering having to go through a local beauty pageon. Now she is with DNA models, the same agency that held household names such as Linda Evangelista, Stella Tennant, Natalia Vodianova or Shalom Harlow. We also know that she has been the face of Ralph Lauren, Alessandro de`ll Acqua or Kenzo, just to name a few, and that she has open numerous fashion shows, but this is all work related and almost wikipedia facts. Now, what not everyone knows about Magdalena, is that behind that oversize angular face and towering height hides a witty and funny girl. Her English is flawless and her sense of humour sets her apart. If you add a wicked sense of style and a natural and graceful way of getting undress in front of the camera...There you have it, a star is born! More things that Magdalena has, that not all the models have, she has not appeared on a fashion spread in American Vogue, meaning, she is not a mainstream beauty. Photos of her can be seen in glossy and more artsy magazines like Purple, Número or French Vogue(yes! I think French Vogue is much more artsy than Italian Vogue). A favourite of Hedi Slimane,Terry Richardson or Olivier Zhan, she is surely choosing the right crowd to mingle. When I first saw her at the Beatrice Inn in New York, she was ten inches taller than the rest of the people, standing out from the crowd dressing with a plain Tee and men´s blazer. When you are that tall and skinny and have such a healthy face, you can go naked and still look amazing...Isn´t that right Mister Richardson?
